Մարկոս Գրիգորյանի ստեղծագործական գործունեության բազմակողմ և ընդգրկուն պատմությունը համեմատական է արվեստագետի բարդ և բազմաշերտ կենսագրությանը, նրա առնչությանը՝ մշակութային տարբեր համատեքստերին և դարաշրջանային ոչ պարզ անցումներին։

Նրա ստեղծագործական կյանքի յուրաքանչյուր փուլ, կապված լիներ այն Իրանի, Եվրոպայի, Միացյալ Նահանգների կամ Հայաստանի հետ, մշատապես հագեցած էր և առատ թե՛ ձևային, թե՛ արտիստական հայացքի տարաբնույթ դրսևորումներով։ Մարկոս Գրիգորյանը առավել հայտնի է իր հողարվեստով, գեղանկարներով և գորգերով։ In Iran, Grigorian remains celebrated not only as a prominent artist of the 1950s and 60s and a co-founder of the Tehran Biennial, but also as a film star in Iranian cinema during the 1960s.
Marcos Grigorian seldom explored performance art in his body of work, yet his few photographic performances may capture the essence of his artistic philosophy most powerfully. These works contemplate the delicate infinity of existence, drawing from his personal experiences with life’s unpredictability and the complex layers of cultural memory.
The event is taking place within the framework of Cyfest.
