This project is a playful attempt to understand the multidimensional architecture and urban transformation of the city of Yerevan. How to navigate in the diverse landscape produced by the changing political regime? How to recognize what is old what new in the city with 2800 years’ history where the past is not present? How to appropriate the theme of architectural identity in the country that struggles with recognition of its identity and history for years?
