Institute of Contemporary Art together with Suburb Cultural Center on August 30 at 19:00 invites you to an artist talk by Catrin Bolt in the frames of “ICA talks” series.
Suburb Cultural Center in the framework of Artist in Residency Program welcomed artist from Austria – Catrin Bolt who is going to present her work and projects realized in Yerevan.
Catrin Bolt (born 1979), is an artist living in Vienna, Austria. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1997-2003. From 2000 to 2003 she collaborated with Marlene Haring under the group-name Halt+Boring. The girl-group was quite active, realising projects, videos and exhibitions. In 2003 they received the Schindler-residency in LA.
Apart from presentations through exhibitions Catrin Bolt’s recent activities include the realisation of a Memorial for 2 forced labour camps near St.Pölten in Austria, 2010, as well as several other projects in Public Space, and the organisation of workshops and projects fostering exchange of artists, as well as creative-curatorial activities.
