The workshop is targeting emerging filmmakers, artists and also film/art students who are interested in creating a collaborative project reflecting on the situation with Syrian refugees in Armenia. The aim of the workshop is to produce an online platform with short episodes made by workshop participants. Therefore the work will continue online after the completion of the 2-day workshop.
The first day will engage the workshop participants into the case study of Sean’s most recent yet unfunded work in progress, A Syrian Love Story, through which a discussion will evolve on how to approach the topic and do the project research.
The second day the team will discuss the pre-production, script development and further collaboration aspects. The follow-up project will be supervised by Sean Mcallister.
