We can doubt whether the mute statues made of bronze, of stone or other materials should have a voice, when there is so much noise in the city. In order to escape that consequences, as well as the possible and fair reactions from the citizens․ it is assumed that the statues should only whisper. But the whisper is not only about the volume of the sound, it is not a material characteristic: it has a message of silence in it, an instruction to preserve the silence, as it is the only possibility to hear the whisper.
Perhaps you may wonder, what’s the aim or the good purpose of making statues “to talk”. Let’s explain. It has been known that statues always have to resist two types of dangers. First, when “the forest of forgetfulness” spreads and covers the statue, making it almost invisible.
